Colossians 1:16-17
16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Mike’s Thoughts
When I realize that God is my creator and that every breath that I take comes from Him, as Tozer has shown, it causes me to want to get off the throne of my life and allow God to take it as He desires. Because if He’s made me, he obviously knows best. This concept, even though I have a lot of sin in my life, has at least caused me to realize that I have no place to expect that I can have something that is not of God, or expect that I can get away with being on the throne of my life. The Bible says, God’s gotta have it all, and I agree with that fact by what the Bible says, but I need to agree with a lot of my actions too. I’ll be praying this week for God to reveal sin in my life that is showing areas that I’m still on the throne of my life. I’m excited that God promises the best for me if I would give up my life to him (Matthew 16:24-25).
