Isaiah 40:12-14
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? 13 Who has understood the mind [a] of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor? 14 Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding?

I love the fact that God knows all. It makes sense to me that if he created everything, he would know everything. If he is immeasurable in all his qualities, of course he will have all the knowledge. And since he knows everything to it’s fullest, he probably doesn’t know anything any less than another thing. I love these facts because they just help me to be real before God. I’ve found that there’s a lot of blessing in confessing sin to God that he already knows because it can really hurt our relationship with God not to do so (Psalm 66:18-20), but doing that with him can really help our relationship with him (Proverbs 28:13). I often pray Psalm 139:23-24 so that God will reveal to me things that are hurting my relationship with him.
My relationship with God is a lot like my relationship with my beautiful wife Emily. When we got married, the covenant was for sure. Till death do us part means that we have to love each other unconditionally. Barring a disaster or huge moral failure that covenant will always be there and we will always unconditionally love each other. However, if I do something stupid, or offend her (which definitely happens) in some way, until I make that right with her by saying the three words women most want to hear, “Honey, I’m wrong,” our relationship is not as strong as it should be. Our covenant is still there, but the relationship is not as good as it is meant to be. It’s the same way with us and God. As Christians, God will never leave his covenant with us, but if we’re hiding sin in our lives and not getting things right with Him day by day, our relationship with him and the effectiveness in ministry and joy that we’re supposed to experience because of that relationship will be lacking until we get things right with God. So if you’re concealing something in your heart. Just stop. God already knows. Confess your sin daily and get things right with him, because he knows what you’re going through and is ready with arms wide open to help (Hebrews 4:14-16).
